Gravity's Palette opens in deep blue-gray, where orange, cobalt, violet and magenta streaks arc through a field of stars. Astronauts drift down the legs and gather near the hems, while pale luminous marks break across the front and the color continues around the garment. The board shorts have a relaxed straight silhouette in polyester with spandex, an adjustable drawcord waistband and side pockets, plus a flap pocket at the back. Against the dark ground, the small figures seem to keep falling, as if the wearer has stepped into their orbit.
