Glimmering Ghosts is a dense woodland of charcoal, graphite and silvery-gray trunks, their peeling, watercolor-like marks twisting in long vertical paths from the ribbed leg to the foot. Dark bands at the cuff and sole frame the shifting field, while the bark-like lines gather and loosen as the sock curves around the ankle and calf. The crew socks have a soft ribbed leg, stretchy polyester fabric and cushioned soles. Their monochrome texture slips neatly beneath a trouser hem, like a narrow stand of trees glimpsed in shadow.
