Gilded Plumes opens in a dense sweep of peacock feathers, their charcoal and sandy taupe striations threaded with turquoise, teal, burnished gold and violet. Large eye motifs gather across the hips and upper legs before giving way to narrower feathers that taper down the calves, so the pattern seems to flow with each step. The leggings have a close, ankle-length silhouette in smooth microfiber yarn, with four-way stretch and an elastic waistband. The result is a dark, jewel-toned plume from hip to ankle, made for a long shirt, simple knit or evening layer.
