Gilded Gridlock brings cream-white angular bands onto a deep midnight-plum ground, crossing the toe, sides and heel in stepped rectangles that shift as the shoes move. These women’s slip-on canvas shoes have a low, streamlined silhouette, elastic side accents and a padded collar and tongue. The upper is polyester canvas, with a breathable lining, soft removable insoles and EVA rubber outsoles. The geometry gives even a simple pair of jeans a darker, more considered finish, like fragments of an art-deco façade carried down the street.
