Gilded Acanthus sets antique-gold acanthus leaves, curling tendrils and small botanical flourishes across a black, pebbled ground. The dense pattern winds over the ankle and vamp, with larger leaf forms settling near the outer sides while the dark field shows between the fine gold lines. These men's high top canvas shoes have a clean lace-up shape, padded collar and faux leather toe cap. The canvas upper side is polyester, with breathable lining, a soft insole and matching laces and soles. Against turned-up denim, they read like small pieces of Baroque architecture at street level.
