The artwork shifts with the dress from the rounded neckline down into the flared skirt, where the motifs break across the folds; the sleeveless cut keeps the upper body clear enough for the color to do its work. Smooth, elastic fabric follows the shape without stiffness, while the elastic waist gives the silhouette its neat turn before the mid-thigh hem.
