Fossil Flight begins like an eccentric natural-history plate in motion: finely hatched dinosaurs, birds, rockets and fossils travel in diagonal bands, with curling linework threading across the warm-white ground. Olive, ochre, burgundy, charcoal and muted plum keep the whimsical antiquarian palette considered rather than loud, and the motifs continue over the sleeves and back.
