Firefly Frenzy begins in electric cobalt, where fuchsia, scarlet, orange, acid yellow and cyan ribbons coil into dense, painterly contours. The brightest yellow and orange flashes gather across the bodice and skirt, while smaller jewel-like loops keep the surface moving down to the hem and over the sleeveless shoulders. The skater dress has a softly scooped neckline, an elastic waist and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic fabric follows the body before opening into a light swing, with a coverstitch hemline to finish the shape. It looks like color caught mid-flight.
