Enckell's Nebula begins in deep midnight, scattered with luminous specks, as violet ribbons, acid-green coils and orange loops wind across the skirt; broad purple strokes fall through the front while finer neon lines gather around the hips and flare toward the hem. The skater skirt has a mid-thigh length and a soft, smooth fabric with enough stretch to follow its easy shape. An elastic waistband keeps the clean, uninterrupted color grounded at the waist. In motion, the flare lets the cosmic tracery open and close like a small field of light.
