Emerald Reverie begins in deep emerald, moss and sea-green: broad spirals curl around pale, softly rendered faces, while a watchful eye appears among the motifs. On the board shorts, the faces gather across the front of the legs, with larger green swirls flowing around them and dark painterly shapes rising toward the waistband. The straight silhouette is made from polyester and spandex, with an adjustable drawcord waistband, side pockets and a flap pocket at the back. The white cord cuts crisply through the green, like a small line of light in the painting.
