Ember Tangle sends burnished orange, acid olive, muted sage and smoky blue forms through a deep charcoal ground, its fine, ink-like contours twisting into painterly swirls from the waistband down to the flared hem. The skater skirt has a smooth fabric, a mid-thigh length and an elastic waistband that keeps the shape easy to wear. Overlock seams and a coverstitch hemline keep the finish neat. In motion, the artwork opens and closes across the flare like a small field of volcanic color.
