Electric Marmalade sends turquoise, cobalt, fuchsia, orange, lime and violet ribbons into a tightly curled, hand-painted-looking whirlpool. The smaller strokes gather densely at the waist, then sweep and loosen slightly across the flared shape, with bright pink and blue currents surfacing through the front. The skater skirt has a smooth fabric, a mid-thigh length and an elastic waistband that sits cleanly at the top. Its soft, lightly stretchy feel and easy flare give the vivid pattern room to move, like a pocket of color in motion.
