Electric Currents sends turquoise, cobalt, lime, magenta, violet and lemon-yellow ribbons through a midnight ground, their fine contour lines bending into liquid loops from the neckline down the close-fitting body and across the skirt. The bodycon dress has a sleeveless cut, scoop neck and smooth microfiber fabric with four-way stretch, so it follows the figure without interrupting the artwork’s flow. The dense color gathers at the waist before opening into larger swirling forms over the hips and hem, like a current caught in motion.
