Dupain Swirl begins in black, white and smoky graphite: broad ink-wash bands sweep down in sculptural arcs, tightening into pointed, leaf-like spirals near the upper skirt before opening again toward the hem. The skater skirt has a smooth fabric surface, a mid-thigh length and a flared silhouette that lets the pattern fan out as it moves.
