Cyan Carnival is a riot of liquid color: electric cyan brushwork carries orange discs, lemon-yellow rings, violet fragments and indigo, molten forms up and down the socks, with painterly strokes threading between the comic-book outlines. The crew-length shape has a soft ribbed leg and a cushioned sole, while stretchy polyester gives the pair a close, flexible feel. Black bands at the cuff and toe frame the artwork, leaving the vivid pattern to do the talking as it moves from ankle to foot.
