Crescent Echoes gathers burnished apricot, ochre, celadon and icy blue into a deep ink field of tightly packed rings, bubbles and organic discs. Larger molten circles punctuate the bodice and skirt, while smaller charcoal-edged motifs fill the spaces between, giving the surface a sense of constant motion. The sleeveless skater dress has a rounded neckline, an elastic waist and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic polyester follows the shape without stiffness, and the coverstitch hem keeps the flare clean. Worn, it reads like a moving constellation of color.
