Cosmic Wiring sends white, cyan, lime, violet and hot-pink tracery over an indigo ground, its irregular cells and botanical-mechanical lines crossing the uppers, rising around the ankles and threading beneath the laces. The high-top canvas shoes have a classic lace-up shape, padded collars and a faux leather toe cap. A breathable lining and soft insole sit above an EVA rubber outsole, while the laces and soles pick up the artwork’s lightest tone. On the foot, they read like two compact flashes of neon circuitry.
