Cosmic Kraken maps an unruly cosmos over the board shorts: scarlet tentacles coil through a deep emerald field, while cracked white planets, striped spheres, rockets and blue currents shift from waist to hem. The relaxed silhouette has an adjustable drawcord waistband, side pockets and a flap-covered rear pocket. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric a little stretch, and the quick-drying finish suits time in and around the water. Against the green, the red forms seem to keep moving, as if the whole pair has been caught mid-voyage.
