Compass Constellation begins with a midnight-blue field scattered with ivory tiles: emerald diagrams, compass roses and constellation lines drift across the body, while antique-gold stars and astrological marks gather near the lower front and side. The duffle bag has a roomy, softly structured shape with black interlining, T-piping and dual padded handles secured by hook-and-loop fasteners. An adjustable, removable padded shoulder strap gives another way to carry it; a mesh side pocket and several inside pockets keep smaller things in reach. It looks like a chart pulled from an old navigator’s desk and sent traveling.
