Color Vortex sends electric yellow, citrus green, aqua, cobalt, coral and pink ribbons through a deep black ground, their painterly curves tightening and loosening in a fluid whirl. On the pencil skirt, the pattern travels continuously from waistband to hem, with a bright yellow sweep at the front and smaller aqua, coral and pink traces threading between the larger forms. The close-to-the-body, mid-waist silhouette is made from soft polyester with spandex, and the hem curves subtly at the front. It reads like liquid color held in motion around the figure.
