Chromatic Tides is a molten field of fuchsia, violet, orange and acid yellow, threaded with electric turquoise and cobalt ribbons that coil into rounded eddies and elongated waves. The motifs travel continuously from the high waist down the close-fitting silhouette, with larger whirlpools gathering through the center and smaller curls breaking toward the sides and hem. The pencil skirt is made from soft polyester with spandex, and its mid-waist fit follows the body without interrupting the artwork. At the hem, the swirls seem to keep moving just beyond the line of the skirt.
