Chromatic Pebble Riot begins in a dense scatter of pebble-like forms, outlined in dark ink and picked out with glossy highlights. Electric orange, cobalt, violet, turquoise and lime move across the front in a continuous, almost geological rush, with larger rounded shapes breaking through the smaller fragments and the side carrying the same color and rhythm. The minimalist backpack has a clean, softly rounded silhouette, water-resistant polyester, a silky lining and a soft mesh back. Inside, a large pocket includes a separate 15-inch laptop compartment; the image it makes is part treasure trove, part portable color field.
