Cheetah Mosaic begins as a dense field of black, espresso and burnished amber rosettes on warm caramel, the small, irregular motifs flowing in close-packed bands from the waist to the curved hem. The pencil skirt follows the body with a mid-waist fit and a soft polyester-and-spandex feel that moves without losing its neat line. A subtly curved hem keeps the finish from looking rigid. The result has the polish of vintage safari references, sharpened for evening with a simple black top and pointed shoes.
