Celestial Waves sends electric ribbons upward in long, wavering strokes, their painterly striations bending and narrowing across the black ground. Cobalt, cyan and acid green run alongside saffron, orange, scarlet and violet, with the strongest color gathered through the center and continuing around the skirt. The pencil skirt sits at the mid waist and follows the body in a close silhouette. Its soft polyester-and-spandex fabric has a little stretch, while the curved lower edge gives the vertical pattern room to move. It reads like liquid color held briefly in shape.
