Brass Refrain gathers olive, moss, bronze and burnished copper instruments over scattered cream sheet music, with saxophones and looping brass forms crossing the uppers in a dense, painterly rhythm. The men's slip-on canvas shoes have a low, easy silhouette, elastic side accents and a breathable lining, while the soft insole is removable. A padded collar and tongue frame the foot, and the white EVA rubber outsole leaves the artwork to carry the color. Seen from above, the instruments seem to tumble toward the toe like a small jazz ensemble in motion.
