Blackroot Circuit is a black-and-ivory tangle of looping filaments, fine speckles and rounded cellular forms: pale tendrils gather across the neckline and bodice, curl through the waist, then scatter and re-form down the flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neck, elastic waistline and mid-thigh hem, giving the dense artwork room to move as the skirt swings. Its smooth, elastic fabric follows the body without stiffness. Worn with simple shoes, it reads like a piece of ink-brushed anatomy in motion.
