Black Matter is a dense monochrome terrain of charcoal cavities and silver-gray forms, its oval openings, fine striations and fluid lines shifting from the leg down towards the foot. On these crew socks, the pattern is interrupted only by black cuffs and toes, while the rest follows the shape in a tightly packed rhythm. The polyester fabric has a soft ribbed leg, breathable stretch and cushioned soles. Worn with cropped trousers or peeking from tailoring, they bring a small piece of volcanic, cellular abstraction to the ankle.
