Beyond the Canvas crowds the shorts with acid yellow, hot magenta, cobalt blue and ink-black marks: looping contours, angular figures and repeated hand-painted fragments run from the waistband to the hems, with dark circular forms and flashes of red breaking through the field. The board shorts have a straightforward knee-grazing silhouette in quick-drying polyester with spandex, an adjustable drawcord waistband and pockets at both sides. A flap closes the rear pocket. Against the hard graphic surface, the white cord gives the look one clean line.
