Black outlines sharpen the organic shapes, while elongated figures and curling forms travel from the scoop neckline through the close-fitting bodice and scatter across the flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a smooth, elastic fabric, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh hem. Its soft stretch follows the body before opening into movement, so the artwork seems to ripple as the skirt swings.
