Bailly's Twist is a tangle of violet and indigo, threaded with molten orange, magenta and gold. Loops and fine linear forms cross the skirt from waist to hem, with curled motifs at the center and vivid orange shapes rising along the sides; the continuous pattern keeps the eye moving. The pencil skirt sits at the mid waist and follows the body in soft polyester with spandex, finishing just below the knee with a gently curved hem. Its restrained shape gives the feverish color somewhere to gather, like light caught in motion.
