The pattern shifts from dense marbling across the bodice to larger violet spaces and curling color through the flared skirt, giving the whole dress a sense of motion. Its sleeveless skater silhouette has a scoop neckline, elastic waistline and mid-thigh hem. Smooth, elastic fabric follows the body before releasing into the skirt, while the coverstitch hemline keeps the finish neat. It moves like a small current of color around the legs.
