Aqua Shatter begins as a field of turquoise fragments on black: tiny irregular pebbles and fractured shapes ripple across the bodice, tighten around the waist, then open and curve through the flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neckline, an elastic waistline and a mid-thigh hem that gives the dense pattern a lighter rhythm as it moves. Smooth, elastic fabric keeps the line close through the top before falling away from the waist. From a distance it reads as dark teal; up close, the surface breaks into a restless mosaic.
