Black outlines give the organic shapes definition, while small luminous flecks break up the painterly surface; the pattern flows continuously from the waistband to the hem, with larger yellow and red forms punctuating the front. The skater skirt has a soft, smooth fabric and a flared mid-thigh cut, finished with an elastic waistband and coverstitch hemline. In motion, its color gathers and scatters like a small, vivid galaxy.
