Amber Whirl is a dense whirl of burnished gold, honey and caramel curls on deep espresso, its hand-drawn spirals looping from the waistband down both legs in a continuous, woodgrain-like flow. The men's board shorts have a straightforward, easy silhouette, with a white drawcord breaking through the dark pattern at the waist and side pockets set neatly into the hips. Polyester with spandex gives the fabric a smooth, flexible handle, while a flap-covered rear pocket adds a useful detail. Worn with a plain tee, the shorts bring a little molten ornament to the shoreline.
