Afterglow Riptide is a current of cyan, violet, emerald, hot pink and cobalt ribbons, their glossy, liquid contours folding into dense swirls across the bodice, waist and skirt. The black ground gives the color room to pulse, while smaller loops and highlights gather at the straps and scatter toward the hem. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neckline, an elastic waist and a mid-thigh flared skirt. Its smooth, elastic polyester fabric follows the shape without stiffness, with a coverstitch hemline. Worn in motion, the skirt makes the artwork feel like it is still turning.
