Afterglow Rapids sends lemon yellow, aqua, hot pink, violet and coral currents through a deep black, star-speckled ground. Fine contour lines twist the ribbons into fluid marbling, with bright swirls concentrated across the bodice and continuing into the flared skirt. The sleeveless skater dress has a scoop neckline, elastic waist and smooth, elastic fabric; the mid-thigh hem gives the pattern room to move. It falls close through the torso before opening into a lively sweep of color, like a small piece of midnight space in motion.
