The dense maze continues from the scoop neckline down the fitted bodice and breaks into larger, brighter fragments across the waist and flared skirt, with the same restless energy carried over the straps. The skater dress has a sleeveless shape, smooth elastic fabric and an elastic waistline; its overlock seams and coverstitch hemline are worth noting. The mid-thigh skirt lifts the whole composition into a moving field of color.
